Hey everyone, my name is Tom Gladwell. I'm looking to start a band that I had this concept for for a number of years called Our Winters Weather (the name comes from my favorite As It Is song called Winters Weather and I decided to personalise it, kinda the same story of how Mikey Way got the name for My Chemical Romance) I had the idea for it being a mix of pop-punk and post hardcore taking inspiration from MCR, The Used, Taking Back Sunday, Fall Out Boy, Simple Plan, Farewell My Love, Avion Roe, All Time Low those are the influences I will be bringing to the table. I had the idea initially for 3 albums Relapses And Recovery (based around my recovery from alcoholism and drug addiction) So Long To Neverland (a concept album of growing up sheltered from the world breaking out and finding where you stand in the world tying in elements of addiction, parenthood, growing up, I got a whole story based on a comic idea called Neverland that I had 10 years ago, the title So Long To Neverland comes from finding out I was going to be a dad, all my life I believed I was going to fail at life and be dead at 27, I am now 28 and beaten all my issues with addiction, so "Neverland" for me was always this dark place) and Funeral Song which I envision as this big grand concept album (along the lines of Black Parade, American Idiot, Wretched And Divine, 21st Century Breakdown) about my belief in the afterlife being that when I'm dead I get my life again same mind and soul but to get there I have to go through this Inbetween space where I am shown the best and worst of my life and if I'm strong enough to get through that then I reach the next life, told through the lense of someone who's dead and in that space I want to leave the story of Funeral Song open ended as to whether the character reaches their next life or if it's all a dream. My dream for starting this has been my guiding light to finding soberiety and saving my life when my addictions had me 2 months from death, this dream helped save my life, I want to bring others on board who recognise that and see the potential it has to help others in the same way (without me sounding like a pretentious prick, I want this to help save others lives as it saved my life) if anyone wants to be part of this my Instagram is @TomGladwell_95 you can find me on Facebook just type in Thomas Gladwell or my mobile number is 07487704743. Ideally I'm looking for 4 other guys, lead guitarist, bass player, rhythm guitarist and a drummer equally committed to this dream as I am, willing to push it as far as we can (I want to put out a minimum of 10 albums and to be able to travel the whole world with this, I want 4 other guys who I can trust to have my back with regards to my recovery from addictions, I'm fine with whoever drinking if they're anything like me I will have their back and try to help them, but it's not a thing for me, coffee, energy drinks and cigarettes are my vice of choice these days as they keep me away from the bullsh*t my worse addictions lead me to).
