Original Psych- Blues Band looking for New Members Liverpool

Experienced Guitarist seeks New members for Merseyside Original Psych- Blues Rock band.

Looking for people who want to collaborate on songs and bring own ideas - have a listen to the demos I have provided below. Age isn’t an issue I’m 28. I have plenty more material recorded this is just to give you an idea.

Stylistically I am going for a fusion of the 60’s psychedelic blues of the Jimi Hendrix Experience and Strawberry Fields era Beatles brought together with some more modern influences such as Them Crooked Vultures and Reignwolf. Lots of free flowing jams with lots of improvisation for everyone- not looking to play the songs exactly the same every time to keep it fresh and creatively satisfying with different variations.

Looking to play with committed bass players, drummers, vocalists or keys players who love collaborating on original music and just love playing music together as much as possible.

I’m not necessarily looking for musicians with lots of experience (although that is a bonus) in their instrument I’m just after people who are committed and enjoy playing so much in so far as it’s not a chore or inconvenience coming to practise a few times a week but something you really enjoy and naturally do This is something really important for me when in looking for new creative collaborators.

Looking to get gigging as soon as possible once we have a few of the songs under our belt and once we have a decent amount of gigs behind us we can get recording at the motor museum or another similar studio.

I’ve been playing guitar and occasionally singing for the past 15 years, and been in lots of Liverpool original bands since then. The most recent Liverpool band I was part of was Van Royale and we were signed to a record Label who fully funded and released a 5 song EP recorded at the Motor Museum. Our Song ‘Gold ‘ was featured on BBC Radio 1 and the rest of the EP received a lot of praise and exposure in the UK and abroad. From my time playing in different Liverpool bands I have lots of contacts in terms of labels, studios/ engineers , promoters, photographers etc so this will help us out a lot as we progress as a band.

If you are interested give me a message and we’ll arrange a casual jam just so we can get a feel for each other musically usually rehearse in Liverpool either Sort or pirate studios but am open to other rehearsal spaces.
