Welcome to Ophelia

We are an original writing goth band. This is a great opportunity to get involved in something exciting and unique.

Myself and Chris have written around 10 original tracks.

We just need the following creative musicians to join us, and eventually get the project out there and heard.

We are in need of a creative experienced lead VOCALISTS, who has the image and open mind with stage presence to be our front person. And the ability to write lyrics and be involved with the writing moving forward.

We are also in need of an experienced DRUMMER. Someone who is able to create just by listening to what we have already achieved and to also be part of the writing moving forward.

Rehearsals will be based in Plymouth at Pirate Studios. Probably once a fortnight either on a Friday evening or a Saturday afternoon around a time that suits us all.

We would love to hear from you, if this is something you want to be involved with. We are very laid back with no dramas or egos. Our age is bracketed between 50-60.

Hello there,

I am very interested in this project. I am in the same age bracket. I am very active musically. I have my own studio that has some of the best quality equipment. I am a very experienced vocaslist, guitarist and can program synths and drum machines. I have some lovely guitars and synths. Have excellent quality Neumann recording microphone. Am very experienced with recording, mixing and mastering.

I was a goth with the originals back in ther 1980s. I'm listening to a lot of Siouxsie and the Banshees and The Fall right now. That would be the angle I would be coming from. I am also very good at writing poetry and lyrics.

I have a strong and melodic tuneful voice. i can sing anything from Joan Baez folk songs to Punk. Am vcery good with using effects as I used to mkae dub reggae too.

I still like to keep an alternative image and could possibly front a band as I am very slim and thletic still. I could jump around a stage for two 45 minut sets, no probklem.

I'm based in Newlyn, Penzance with my studio, but it is no problem to travel up to Plymouth by train even two or three times a week as used to commute anyway. I have no responsibilities of family or relationship so am very free.

It woulkd be very possible with a good set up to tour America. In LA there is a huge reseurgence of interest in Punk and Goth music. I am also very good at planning and organisation.

I am very interested in what you have advertised here. In some way I am sure I could help and would be very interested in your project as long as it is something that makes progress.

I would also be willing to invest money into equipment and transport. I am bored and would like to do something beautiful and creative.
