Hey! I’m Charlotte, a professional R&B/Soul singer with a twist of Soft Rock (think Stevie Nicks meets Paramore kind of Soft Rock) and I’m on the lookout for talented musicians to join me in performing my original tracks and a mix of lots of covers. If you're passionate, obsessed with music, and dedicated and in their 20's, we could be the perfect fit!
About Me: I’ve been performing professionally for 12 years alongside having professional vocal training for 12 years. My singles like “Devil” and “Bloom” have earned critical acclaim across the UK, with regular radio play on radio stations, and features on BBC Radio Solent, Surrey, Sussex, and Union Jack Radio + shout outs on BBC Radio 2. I’ve had the privilege of performing at festivals like The British Motor Show and Victorious Festival, as well as prestigious venues across the UK.
In addition to performing, I host “What’s a Crackalackin’”, a podcast where I chat with fellow artists about their journeys and the ups and downs of the music industry and their thoughts on the music industry today. I’m also a radio presenter on a commercial radio station, with over 321,000 listeners.
What I’m Looking For: I’m searching for professional, dedicated musicians who are eager to perform regularly with me. Ideally, I’m looking for someone who is committed to this project solely and can give it their full attention, as I’ve found that juggling multiple bands or commitments can make it difficult to make real progress. If you are certain you can juggle a number of projects but still give your all to this one, i'll definitely consider.
You should be comfortable performing my original music (studio and live versions available) and ready to contribute to booking gigs and promoting the band as a whole. We’ll be playing a range of covers too, and I encourage you to choose your favourite ones to bring to the table!
The goal is to perform weekly (paid gigs), and I’m hoping to build a steady stream of performances at official venues. I understand everyone has their own commitments, and I’m looking for musicians who can balance this with their passion for the band/Charlotte Neal Music.
Additionally, you must be comfortable performing with and without in-ears and backing tracks. While I use in-ears for certain gigs with backing tracks, it’s important that you’re equally able to perform acoustically, by ear, without relying on in-ears or clicks. I’ve found that some musicians become too reliant on in-ears/clicks, and when faced with an acoustic performance or professional shoot, they struggle. I regularly perform for professional ads and am also venturing into TV and recording videos for social media, and I need musicians who can deliver consistently, whether or not they have their usual setup.
However, despite all this, I love a good laugh, and like to make sure it's still enjoyable throughout.
My goal: I want to make performing live in front of masses of people my full-time career alongside my radio presenting. This is my passion and I’m determined to make it my job, and I’m looking for musicians who share that same drive and commitment to building this career. I need band members who are equally dedicated to growing with me, performing at larger venues, and building our brand and presence together. If this sounds like you, we can do this together!
