One-Session Drummer Wanted – Derby
Looking for a drummer for one focused session in a studio in Derby.
Time: 10am–6pm

This is not a case of learning a full album note-for-note in advance. I need someone with real chops who can listen, take direction, and jam out sections, grooves, hooks, transitions, and movement changes with feel and confidence.
You should be comfortable with:
rock jazz experimental / odd-feel beats. Dynamic changes. Working from coached sections rather than rigid charts. Feel over sterile perfection.
Important:
this is about capturing parts, not doing a museum reconstruction. You need good instinct, timing, adaptability, and little ego about doing multiple passes. Some sections may be loose, and some tightly guided, odd meters and unusual structures do appear.
Backline is on site.
Bring your own sticks, breakables, extras, and anything personal you rely on.
You’ll suit this if you:
can play with power and restraint. Can lock with bass from stems. Can handle unconventional arrangements and doesn't panic when things get a bit left-field. Understand that character and feel matter more than polished stiffness
