MUSICIANS WANTED — Olivia Dean Tribute Act | Dorset-based
Forming a new tribute act celebrating Olivia Dean — soulful, warm, horn-driven pop with real groove. Looking for experienced, professional musicians to build something polished from the ground up, not a bedroom project.
Currently seeking:
* Lead vocalist (must capture her tone/phrasing and where possible, stage presence) - bonus if you can play a little guitar or piano too for softer moments in the set.
* Drummer
* Guitarist
* Keys (Rhodes/piano feel essential)
* Sax / horn player(s) — a big plus for authenticity
* Backing vocalists (optional but 2 x would be nice)
We already have:
* Bass (me — based in Poole)
What we’re looking for in you:
* Gigging-level experience, tight timing, good ear
* Own gear and transport
* Ideally based within Poole/Bournemouth/surrounding areas or willing to travel for both gigs and rehearsals
* Genuinely committed — this is being built as a serious, working live act, not a jam-for-fun project
What this is:
* Regular rehearsals (weekly/fortnightly and day to be decided by the group once we have the members we need)
* Aiming for festival/function/private event bookings once tight
* Fee structure: even split - rates to be decided
If you love her sound and want to be part of building something properly from scratch, send me over a short video or clip of you performing a cover of an Olivia Dean song plus a bit about your musical background and experience.
