Hi there. 58 year old singer that plays some rhythm guitar and a "bit " of ukulele but mainly sings to good quality backing tracks with instrumentation added and removed as required for the tracks. Produce my own tracks if required via cubase and ableton etc. 25 years+ playing in working mens clubs as a duo. Various bands before that but always mainly as a singer. My partner in the duo provided harmony vocals as well as solo performances and he played guitar on most tracks apart from the dance spot. I have recorded many tracks and my son has now taken over the studio I built so there is ready access for any recordings. So, recently got to wanting to do " something " dont really know what. Not looking to gig all the time but willing to do an odd show for a good cause type thing. I miss messing about and singing with another guy so it really is more of a hobby thing and see what happens. I was thinking I might want to just front a ready made band but at my age there arent too many opportunities like that. Strictly a free and easy/pop and rock/ country and folk with an odd classic thrown in. As a sideline I was a Neil Diamond tribute and I was in an Everley Brothers tribute for years too. Ive sung so so many styles in my time but I feel that the new stuff around is not for me. So, if youve been there/ done that/ fed up watching crap on the telly and still want something musical in your life, get in touch. Keyboard/synth player or guitarist would be good...anything really apart from the bagpipes!.... No harm in having a beer and seeing if anything comes of it is there?
