HEAVY RHYTHM GUITARIST LOOKING FOR GROOVE-METAL BAND / PROJECT

About Me & My Style:
I am 31 and a dedicated rhythm guitarist with 2 years of solid, focused playing experience looking to learn more join or form a heavy, groove-focused alternative metal or nu-metal project.
I don't care about flashy, high-speed guitar solos—my obsession is the rhythm section. I focus entirely on tight alternate-picked gallops, crisp palm-muting transitions, clean dead stops, and explosive natural/pinch harmonics. I think like a drummer aswell as a guitarist and love building a massive, bouncing wall of sound that locks in perfectly with the bass and drums.

I can do lead! But I'm still in the process of getting out that safety zone. Would need to practice extensively. Wouldn't mind giving it a good try with some patient people however.

Influences:
Huge fan of the raw, brutal, authentic 2000s era. Think early Disturbed (The Sickness / Believe), Slipknot, Mudvayne, In flames, All that remains, Metallica. Korn, Linkin park, Rammstein, System of a down, Trivium, 1kfootcrutch, A7X, Children of bodom, Parkway drive
If it has a mean, heavy, infectious groove, I’m all over it.

My Gear (Fully Stage & Rehearsal Ready):
Amp: modfied EVH 5150 Iconic 80w Tube Head (Real high-gain tube horsepower, no digital amp simulators here) also has very premium aftermarket valves installed. I also have the gear to re-amp through my 5150 ) so get intouch! Has a real unique twangy sound with Tung sols replaced in the pre-amp Think bullet for my valentine.

Reactive loadbox: Torpedo Captor 8X (to meet full tube saturation) also has virtual cabinet's/amps but I prefer the genuine sound of my 5150

Pedalboard: DigiTech Drop Pedal (ready to shift into any heavy tuning seamlessly), EVH 5150 Overdrive, Ibanez Tube Screamer, a TC Electronic Sentry Noise Gate (for razor-sharp dead stops), and a custom-modified "I Want Blood" Dunlop Crybaby Wah. All my pedals are analogue with premium clean seperate power distribution

Cabinet: 2x12" Celestian greenbacks (looking to change one for a creamback/vintage30)

Guitars: Highly modified 6-string Jackson Warrior WRX24 with fishman fluance moderns with P/P pots and upgraded original FR trem (I'm currently Saving for a 7string baritone)

I take care of all my gear myself as I'm also learning to become a guitar tech/tube amp tech I have perfected guitar setups and how to achieve various tuning setups (EVEN with a floyd rose)

I’m Looking For:
Looking for a tight drummer, bassist, and vocalist (or an existing band) who want to write heavy, raw original material or jam on classic 2000s metal covers. No over-sanitized pop-metal or backing track chasers—just authentic, high-energy, high-gain heavy music.Based around the Ashington / Northumberland / Newcastle area.

I also have experience with producing (5 years experience) I have FL studio signature edition with various other premium plugins I've collected over the years!
