We are a rock band that are suffering some line up changes at the moment. Our core line up (bass, rhythm guitar, and drums) is unchanged from when we initially started almost a year ago, however we recently lost our singer/lyricist, and our lead guitarist who both joined in June due to travel distance and family commitments. We have recently found a new guitarist, and now just need a new singer/ songwriter.
Our writing style tends to angle more towards melodic and hard rock, with just a touch of prog rock influence at times.
We're looking for a vocalist who is confident in their ability to write and sing their own lyrics, and happy to at least try to fix any lyrics the rest of us may suggest. We'll happily consider male or female guitars/vocals.
We're pretty easy going people, we don't really suffer the old school punk rock attitude. Current age range is 26 - 32 if age is a concern. We practice at Half-Ton Studios in Milton, next to the North Cambridge Science Park, usually on a Tuesday Night after work as none of us have the time to practice during weekends (and the studio's not open then).
The last six months we've been working on originals with the guys who just left, 2 of which we'll definitely be retaining, but we'd be open to discussing covers too in order to create a song line up so we can start doing some gigs. All of us have previous gig experience.
If it sounds like something you're interested in, please drop me a message and we see if we might be a good fit.
Thanks,
Alex
