At present there are drums guitar and female vocalist.We have begun rehearsals with a short list of songs but need to complete the line-up.
Ideally, you would be in or close to Birmingham, reliable, and. would be retired or semi retired so that we can rehearse weekdays.Previous band / stage experience is important plus own gear and transport. We are NOT looking for perfectionists - we do things OUR way so if some chords, notes, drum beats, or the arrangement varies from the original thats fine so long as the original song is still recognisable to the audience. We are in it to enjoy making music in a relaxed atmosphere and if a band is enjoying themselves on stage then the punters enjoy it too.We are a covers band looking for the widest possible range of songs but nothing heavy, metal, punk etc - it's for clubs and private functions. Hello, I am a retired rather mature male who has been playing bass guitar for a couple of years, I have been playing with an amateur band covering popular foot tappers classic rock tracks eg. Kinks, CCR, Black Crows, Free, Stones, Purple, AcDc, Eagles Boston and others. I have been "resting" for a while. We played a couple of charity, pub gigs and parties, so I am able to play before audiences but situations changed for other members, I am an amateur but get by, I have my own kit and have a vehicle and would like to find the right opportunity and I would like to find out what tracks you are looking at.

I live near Bham airport, so quite local I look forward to hearing from you if you feel I may be suitable.

further to my previous reply, you might well be thinking, looking at those 5 song titles I gave you, that they are somewhat far removed from what you have done before. Our eventual song list ( given the fact that MOST of our vocals will be female focused) will be made up from each band member's choice.Those 5 numbers are just to get us started. The eventual song list will need to have at least 30 numbers for a typical club evenings entertainment.
