We are an instrumental post/math rock band with leanings very much to the heavier side of the spectrum and are looking for a very capable drummer to replace the session drummer we have had for the past year (as he can no longer commit to gigs, rehearsals and writing sessions). We are about to release our third studio album and are looking for a permanent band member to join the fold to bring the new songs (and some old ones) to a live setting.
We’ve played Truck, ArcTanGent, Strangeforms and the inaugural Portals festival, previously toured for small stints in Europe and have played approx. 200 gigs all over the UK.
You will need your own gear and transport and to be available to rehearse on a regular basis (at the moment maybe once or twice a month – potentially more when more gigs are lined up). We rehearse in Watford. Ideally, we’d also like to have someone who is proficient with double-kick (but not essential) and happy playing odd time signatures. No age requirements as such but as an indication, all members of the band are 30-32 years old.
Our back catalogue can be found at:

Bonds (album not yet out but first single below - remove the stars ***!)

As an example of what kind of chops we are after, we will perform the songs from our catalogue below live:
I Was A F*cking Jet Engine (Bonds album)
Kong (Move On, Make Trails album)
Stranger in the Alps (Stranger in the Alps album)
Along with technical proficiency, it would be great to have a full time drummer who is dedicated, easy to get along with and loves to play live.
There are a fair few videos of our songs and of us playing live on YouTube, should you wish to check more of our stuff out.
Please reply on here and then we can always exchange emails/numbers to progress things further!
Look forward to hearing from you!
