I’m looking for talented, creative women who want to start an all-female band with me! Little about me I am 26 I live in london and pursed music a little at uni and have previously done musical theatre and west end performing and really want to start an all female band with a group of lovely women.
I’m a vocalist and songwriter looking to bring together a group of women who want to make music, write original songs, rehearse, play gigs and build something exciting from the ground up.
Want to create and original sound but the type of sounds I enjoy are dreamy, alternative, indie, soulful and a little bit experimental.
The type of artists I enjoy listening to include Stevie nicks, Mazzy Star, FKA Twigs, Florence and the machine but I really listen to everything as far as music goes I just love it.
Looking for:
A drummer
A guitarist
A bassist
A keyboardist / synth player
Backing vocalists and anyone who plays multiple instruments are very welcome too!
Ideally, you:
Are passionate about music and excited to collaborate creatively.
Want to write and perform original music, not just covers.
Are reliable, open-minded and willing to commit to regular rehearsals.
Have your own instrument and equipment where applicable.
Want to gig, record music and grow together as a band.
You don't need to be a professional musician or have loads of gigging experience. I'm more interested in finding people with musical ability, personality, creative ideas and the right energy.
The vision is to create something authentic, feminine, a little unconventional and genuinely exciting.
