Guitarist looking to start an original project, band or acoustic duo
Hi, I’m Dean, 46, based just outside High Wycombe.
I’m looking to meet like-minded musicians to write, rehearse and perform with. I’m open to female or male singers, as well as guitarists, bassists, drummers and anyone passionate about creating music.
I’d love to start with an acoustic duo or stripped-back band, then naturally grow it into something bigger as original material develops. While I’m happy to play the occasional cover, my main goal is writing and performing original music.
I’ve been playing guitar since I was 13 and have played in various bands over the years covering everything from metal and grunge to indie, rock and acoustic music. These days I’m drawn to music that’s atmospheric, emotional and cinematic, with inspirations including Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Phoebe Bridgers, Bon Iver, The Beatles, folk music, and I also love all psychedelic 60s culture.
More than technical perfection, I’m looking for creativity, personality and people who genuinely want to build something together.
Alongside teaching guitar, I also run Far Out Sessions™, a monthly live music event and filmed session series supporting original artists, so I’m always looking to connect with creative musicians.
