i am a very experienced guitar player, singer based in Leeds, i have performed all over the UK and abroad too.
Importantly i have several professional entertainment agencies backing me up. and waiting for the new band to emerge. I have worked with them for many years.
I am looking for great friendly , no ego musicians male or female who can, not only play but also sing, and are confident in heir playing,, enough to also introduce ideas to original newl material in sets of well known songs, audiences would enjoy.
so the ability to take part in the writing of original material would be a great plus, for example, one of the band member would bring in a new interesting Riff , and the band in a studio would get involved in adding all the building blocks of a new song to fruition.Ability to improvise would help greatly.
The ideal band would be 2 x guitarists or a guitar and keys, a solid drummer. an inventive Bass player, and one main lead singer male or female.
If it all works out and a new band is created, i would be able to also bring in on certain gigs a harmonica , saxophone player, or a violinist etc...depending on the occasion.
The main aim for the band would be to produce a very professional wall to wall sound, which will appeal to most people, with a mixture of Melodic Rock, some melodic blues, Motown , soul, reggae, a mix of great famous songs, with some original materials too.
influences from Fleetwood Mac, ELO, Eagles, Phil Collins,Queen,Earth Wind & Fire
,Blues Brothers,Bowie,Robert Palmer, Rolling Stones, etc , emphasis in good tight playing , good lead vocals and Harmonies. and A LOT OF FUN without egos.
I am not sure how this ad will do , but i hope i have managed to explain the idea behind the project.
