Hello all! If you're reading this then I'm guessing you've seen the above and are interested. Fantastic! We're called Mind Utopia and we're searching for new members. Specifically, a drummer and a vocalist. We like to write and play all genres of music but currently we're focusing on a more rock/ambient style as well as acoustic music. We mainly want to write original music as for us, that is the most fun, but we also love to covers songs here and there as well!

Recording - we have a home-studio which we used to record the Untitled song that was linked above and will carry on using for now! We use this really just to put out "draft" songs (songs that aren't perfectly mixed or mastered and will be of the same quality of our Untitled song above). Once we have a full line up and some songs that we've written together, that's when we'd want to enter a proper studio to record but our home studio will used for recording in-between using the studio.

Practice space - we have free access to a practice room with several amps, microphone system for vocals and a drumkit and can book it whenever we want.

Musical influences -
Mallory Knox, Hands Like Houses, Deaf Havana, Bring Me The Horizon, PVRIS, Northlane, You Me At Six, Architects, The xx, Paramore, Tonight Alive, August Burns Red, Ed Sheeran, Parkway Drive, Saosin, Young Guns. We have a lot more but I can't remember them all now but we like everything ranging from pop to metal so whatever your drum style of vocal style is, it would probably fit our band!

The most important thing for us is your mentality, dedication and just generally how nice you are. Skill isn't so important as that just comes in time. We really just want nice people who want to write music, gig, record and just have a good time!
