Hey hey,
35 years old, around 20 of those playing in amateur and professional bands. Taken a big old break for the last few years as I brought my first restaurant but now looking to get into something serious with players and friends who want to take it to a professional level.
I'm a Londoner living in Bristol, but my wife and I are moving to Glasgow. Don't be put off by the fact I'm not in the city yet, as I'm major league dedicated to finding the right group and players and will make a huge effort.
I play Bass, Rhythm Guitar, Drums and a good vocalist for melody and decent screamer, I don't mind what the project is and where my place is as long as it's good and has direction.
I'm into mainly Alt, Punk, Grunge, Post Hardcore, Ska, Bit of pop, synth every now and then, if it's catchy, dark, heavy, soulful - I'm into it. Played and toured professionally in Europe in the good ole days and often taken lead vocals. I want something unique that pays homage to the 'the good ole days' but have the common sense to move in a direction that's received well in this day and age.
One thing you'll get to know about me (arguably to my downfall) is that I'm a pretty militant dude when it comes to getting a band to a good place. I believe in daily, strong communication and working as a team and having fun at the same time. I'm not looking to join a covers band, time is ticking and I can do that when I'm retired (or smart). I actively despise social media though know it's a necessary evil, so if you're looking for a 'Like and Subscribe' dude, I'm not your guy. But I know great PR people and willing to contribute my share financially and creatively with the right members.
