Looking for a Drummer and Bassist Amersham

Hi there,

I'm currently assembling a line up of talented musicians to start gigging, primarily playing music i've written and released, but also to write and arrange together, do weird covers (if we want) and generally, to have a great time whilst we navigate this tricky industry.

We're looking for a Drummer & Bassist.


Line up so far:

Arrun (me)
I'm a tenor singer-songwriter/fingerstyle guitarist and professional producer, mixing and mastering engineer. 2 of out my 4 releases have received BBC airplay:

My strongest skill is my vocal range, allowing me to sing challenging pieces (Jeff Buckley, Muse, Radiohead, Free, etc). I have written and produced in dance music (DnB & House primarily), Rock, Alt, Pop, Indie, Jazz and Motion Picture/Score and my skill as a producer comes with weaving many of these weird and seemingly disparate styles together.

My style as a songwriter-producer tends to favour vocal and guitar-led hooks, combined with electronics and beats and sealed off with tight, punchy production.

Will
A ridiculously skilled jazz pianist and saxophonist who frankly makes me look embarrassingly average at playing
Will is also a professional transcriber of jazz, and has had several transcriptions of classic jazz pieces officially published/licensed and royalties paid.

Jack
Former co-frontman of UK band Salt, who toured extensively a few years back and won a national competition, with the prize being recording at Abbey Roads on John Lennon's "Imagine" piano no less! Jack is a talented songwriter, guitarist and even more talented pianist, so between him and Will, the keys fort is absolutely nailed and with two incredible players, the potential sonic pallet of what's possible live is enormous.
