Hello! I’m an electronic music producer, creating glitchy, alternative deep house with driving bass lines and weird samples.
Live music is my first love (I play guitar and bass), and I’m trying to bring this spirit to my electronic music. I’ve recently added live vocals and a minimal, reactive light set-up to the project.
I want to take this a step further, and bring live musicians into the fold.
I’m open to anything, including guitar, bass, drums, keys, sax, cello, more vocalists, dancers, whatever you’ve got! I want to flip the classic approach of bands adding synths and drum machines on its head, by taking the foundation of repetitive electronic music but replacing elements with live music. Picture classic electronic remixes of alternative guitar and pop music, played live.
I launched the project in its current form with a couple of shows I promoted at the Social last year. The feedback was really positive, but I’ve not always enjoyed working on this as a solo project. I miss the energy and creativity of working with others, and think this can become bigger and better than it already is with fresh input.
I have 30-60 minutes of what (I think!) is promising material. I’m open to reworking this with new instruments, or starting afresh with new ideas all round. My main aim is to meet interesting people with different ideas, and seeing what emerges when we get in a room together.
I’m in my early 30s and based in north London.
Let me know if you’re enticed by any of this and happy to send over some live videos of recent material. I'd love to hear from you.
Finally, a small selection of the eclectic stuff I’m into: Paranoid London, Happy Mondays, Andy Stott, Charli XCX, Oasis, Marie Davidson, Gilla Band, Pulp, Osees, The Fall, Spacemen3.
Cheers!
