Hi. Hük are losing a drummer soon (He's off to Oz). We're really interested to take the material in a more electronic direction and we're looking to get someone in who can play up our electronic side with live beats and samples spun in.
We've been out gigging for the last 18 months. Mainly Brighton but some festivals in London, Southampton and Hastings. We've also had 2 new releases in 2025 ('I Saw The Light' & 'The State We're In') and some positive radio play on 6Music and others.
We're looking to take the next step up in 2026 in terms of festivals and ideally gigs further afield. If you like the music and you're up for joining a band that wants to be busy gigging and recording (we have a bunch of tracks ready to go back into the studio with) get in touch!
Our music has a raw, 70s soundtrack funk vibe but with a modern electro edge - think Lalo Schifrin’s soundtracks to movies like Dirty Harry and then add vocals about failing identities, paranoid obsessive garbage analysts and a dose of rage at institutional power and you’re getting there. If there is such a genre as 'post punk electro funk’ then that might be us
'A more malevolent LCD Soundsystem. The electronic shield of truth' - Steve Lamacq
'Scuzzily debauched alt-electro that carries more funk than a men’s locker room after a spin class' - Amelia Vandergast
