Lead/Rhythm Guitarist looking for Pop/Metal type Group Coventry, Nuneaton, Bedworth, Solihull, Birmingham, Midlands

Hey All,

My name is James and am on the lookout for Pop-Rock/ Pop-Metal type of group.

I am 34 yrs old and have recently picked up my Guitar again after a few years due to personal issues.
I had totally forgotten just how much fun I had been missing and how much music really means to me.....I have still got it haha.

My reason for picking up a Guitar in the first place was due to Slash. I am therefore quite a Rock inspired Guitarist first and foremost, but I enjoy all types of music.
I am extremely open to all genres but my roots do lie in the 'Rock' domain, partucularly 1980's Classic Rock & general fun-time rock n' roll.

My biggest music influence of all time is actually Michael Jackson, so you can rest assured you will be gaining someone who is extremely passionate, committed and professional....I really strive and pride myself on being the best musician I can be.

It has been a rough few years but I am SO ready to get back into music again and not only join a passionate group of musicians like myself, but make some amazing new friends on the journey.
Would be ideal to find some local musicians to begin with but am open to travelling for the right group.
I am certainly not gender specific either, just as long as you enjoy music as much as I do

Some of my other influences include:- G'N'R, Bryan Adams, Bon Jovi, KISS, Aerosmith, Kane Roberts......so as you can see I am quite melodic rock/sing along inspired too haha.

Would be great to hear from anyone looking for a Lead/Rhythm Guitarist (I am a firm believer that you are only as good at one as the other.....so rather than being regarded as just a Lead Guitar player, I pride myself on being just as good a rhythm player too).
