Re-Release is an established 5 piece covers band from Bristol, comprising keyboards, lead guitar, bass and drums, lead vocals and backing vocals. We have fantastic reviews wherever we play and are increasingly regarded as one of the better bands working out of Bristol.
Our lead vocalist has decided to move on to undertake other projects but will remain as required, with the band, until the end of 2022. We wish to identify a replacement to start working with us either this year or at the latest January 2023.
The Band
We cover pop, rock, indie and motown songs from the 1960s through to the 2000s. We have a repertoire of 40+ songs which will continue to grow in 2023.
We limit gigs to a maximum of three quality gigs per month. We have a full calendar of contracted work for the remainder of this year. We major in playing at weddings, parties and corporate functions – with a few pubs and festivals thrown in for pleasure! All of our work is South West based.
We have professional kit and band management to enable us to work successfully with some of the bigger music agencies in the South West.
The ideal candidate
Experienced lead vocalist with good vocal range and able to engage with a crowd
Happy singing the range of music genres in our play list
Available for one rehearsal per week in Bristol and a maximum of three gigs per month.
Bristol based with own transport
Professional kit – you will have already have or will be prepared to buy speakers, stands, mic and IEMs. A Digital mixing desk is owned by the band.
We are unable to accept applications from vocalists who wish to continue to work with other bands.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented singer to join an established successful band. Initial workload to learn our set lists will be followed by recording a new promo video and photo shoots to revise publicity materials.
