WANTED: newly formed covers project with experienced line-up seeking LEAD GUITARIST to complete our line-up.
We are Drums, Bass, Keyboards plus dual Lead Vocalists (male + female) - all very capable musicians but with jobs and families. So this is a fun project but with high performance values. Gigging is certainluy a destination (aiming for about once a month), but we’re about the journey too… i.e. enjoying making great music together and polishing it to a high standard.
We're looking to captivate a crowd who fondly remember radio-friendly Rock/Pop centred on the 70’s-00’s. This is deliberately NOT a party/dance band nor one for the youngsters (no modern material) … it's more of a toe-tapping, head-nodding, nostalgic night out for more seasoned punters. Mixing the very familiar (some less commonly played on the covers circuit) with a few “hidden gems” that fit the intended vibe.

You need to be able to play this material and similar to a high standard. There will be opportunities to show your “chops” but there are also songs that require the guitar to play more of a tasteful supporting role. So we need a guitarist who is “musical” - not a limelight-hogging, volume on 11 egomaniac!
