Lead guitarist North or north east London

Hi! This is Victor, from Reina Mauve, a rock/blues/jazz band based in London. Very sadly our guitarist has left the country for personal reasons; so we are on the lookout for a new guitarist! We consist of me (Victor) on bass, Lucy on vocals and Michael on drums.

A bit about ourselves, we are an established band, with one live single released and in the process of finalising our first professionally recorded album. We have performed many times in London in venues to 100+ people. We are aged 25-37 and we are all good friends.

What are we looking for? Someone to start a new journey with us, someone who enjoys composing and improvising. Our composing dynamics is very collaborative and varied, mixing styles and always open to new ideas, so we are looking for someone who will chip in in the discussion but also be willing to listen to others and try things out.
Regarding our finished album, we don’t consider it necessary for the new guitarist to be able to play it, we see this as a new start of the band, on the other hand if the new person is keen, it would be great for them to learn some of the songs.

Also, very importantly, we would like someone empathetic, and just generally nice and kind who we get on with! We have created a very nice open culture in which we all genuinely enjoy playing together and freely share ideas, which is something invaluable and we would like you to be part of it!

We take our music seriously and try to rehearse weekly. But we all have other jobs and acknowledge that sometimes it can be hard! We usually rehearse around Holloway station.
