Letzrock
(Buxton - Stockport - Warrington - Runcorn)

We have been gigging since 2010, 750+ gigs and still going strong. We have 30 gigs booked in the diary, a combination of regular venues, a couple of new venues and some functions.
2025 was a period of change for the band, but we have kept gigging throughout. Our lead guitarist of 15 years is looking to put gigging to one side so we are recruiting! In 2026 4 of the 5 members will all be new compared to 2024.
We are a party band so you need to be happy playing a variety of music aimed at keeping the dance floor filled. All of us in the band are happy to plan tunes we wouldn’t otherwise listen to if they are crowd pleasers!
If you are interested I can share our current song book with you, no problem.
We are looking for someone happy to gig 30 - 35 times over the year. We take weekends off so everyone can have a non-band life. Occasionally we’ll play a Friday and Saturday if one gig is a function. You need to be happy to travel up to an hour for gigs so we can cast the net wide in order to keep active - venues are closing all the time. We play pubs, functions and parties but you won’t be covering the mortgage.
We are 3 guys and a female vocalist: 30 to 50. Drums, lead guitar and rhythm guitar.
Guitars and bass go directly into our PA so this is ideal if you are a player using a modelling multi-effects pedal, or pedalboard based analogue amp. It could work if you want to DI out of your amp. This is important to us. We’re not looking for someone who is only prepared to play with a full high gain set up at audience volume from the stage.
The band use in-ear monitors which really helps to reduce feedback in small venues and venues full of hard surfaces. We have some entry level gear for this or you can invest in an upgrade to more reliable, but very affordable, gear which most of the band have done.
Our current Lead player is happy to play until we recruit. We have 3 gigs in January and 1 in February so the first stage would be to come and watch up play.
