Lead Female Vocalist Wanted - Modern and Classic Country Northamptonshire

Monday 2 Mar 2026, 10:36pm

Are you ready to bring the spirit of Broadway, Nashville to the UK? Whiskey Flame, a busy and established country covers band, is hunting for a powerhouse female lead to join our permanent lineup.

The Role
We aren't looking for a "dep", we want a full-time band member with high energy, stellar vocals, and the stage presence to command a crowd. You’ll be singing lead alongside our male singer and other female singer, as well as providing harmonies and backing vocals. You can expect to be covering hits from icons like:

The Classics: Dolly Parton, Shania Twain

Modern Stars: Lainey Wilson, Carrie Underwood, Ella Langley

The Gig Diary
We are a "working band" with a packed calendar of private events, public shows, and summer festivals.
Frequency: 2–3 shows per month (approx).

Reach: Primarily Northants/Warwickshire, but we do play nationally (Nottingham and Liverpool already on the books for 2026!).

We also work directly with a specialist country music booking agent. Your first show is Saturday, May 9th!

What You’ll Need
Experience: Proven ability to lead a live band and engage an audience.

Gear: Own transport and a set of In-Ear Monitors (or willingness to invest in them).

Bonus Skills: If you play fiddle or keys, we definitely want to know, though it’s not a deal breaker!

Join the Party
If you’re a talented and enthusiastic lover of country music, and ready to hit the road with a professional band, we want to hear from you.

To Apply: Please reply to the post and we'll ask you to send over any links to videos, audio clips, or social media pages showcasing your performance.
