Hi. Thanks for reading my ad.
The TL;DR is: novice keyboard player looking to join/start band, to jam together, and play gigs when we’re ready.
I’ve been playing synths/keyboards for a number of years, but only really got serious about it a few years ago. I’ve been in a couple of bands since then, and done some writing/experimental projects too.
I’m looking to either join an existing band, or start a new one.
I like most genres of music, and have played indie, pop, rock, synth pop, and a little bit of blues. I love learning new things.
It could be a covers band doing popular tunes, one doing original works, or even a tribute band playing the music of one artist or genre.
Whatever it is, we need to be doing it for the love of playing and having fun.
Not looking to join a pro band unless they’ve got time for me to get up to speed. Also not looking folk who want to stay home and do stuff online only. While that’s useful to start with, I want to be out playing live, in front of an audience, when we’re ready, or at the very least, getting into a proper rehearsal studio.
What I’m bringing:
• Two synths, plus numerous virtual ones via Mac and iPad, plus other kit
• Able to read music
• Able to take a guitar table and turn it into a keyboard part
• Fast learner
• Great humour
• Good at establishing a rapport with most people
• The drive and commitment to see a project through to completion
So if you need some keys in your band, or you fancy starting a new project together, get in touch.
