Keyboard Player for Motown / Soul / Mod / Northern Soul Act Bromley / Dartford / SE London

Unfortunately our lovely keyboard player is having to leave due to fitness issues with his back and shoulder. We are therefore looking for someone to come in and not only replace him but hit the ground running.

You would be playing a style that fits into our sound and not dominating it, so if you are a Keith Emerson / Rick Wakeman style of player then it’s probably not for you. We do Classic Motown / Classic Soul / Mod / Northern Soul material. We are all of mature age (over 50, some over 60), and have a fabulous female singer, so would prefer someone similar in age wise to apply. We are all very easy-going and do it mainly for enjoyment and fun, with the occasional gig (1-2 per month). We rehearse most weeks on a regular Thursday. We are all based in SE London and Kent and rehearse near Dartford to give you an idea where we are based. Sound wise we love the classic Hammond sound from the 60’s (think Booker T, Spencer Davis etc).

The ideal candidate should be experienced, be able to play to a decent standard, be a quick learner, and have their own equipment and transport (including ULEZ). They should also be willing to become a band member / team player that is flexible, respectful, and very easy going. The onus is enjoyment and fun so please bear this in mind.
