Working in Derby during the week and staying near Belper. Looking for people to play with. Happy to drive to anywhere near reasonable.
Interested in people who like to create or just jam along. Will do covers and standards but i have my own stuff as well.
Love to work collaboratively. In my old band I would often take someone else's music, arrange it and put lyrics to it.
Have recording equipment.
I'm in 50's but often work with 30-60, as long as your not stuck in your ways.
Previous other band members were guitar, vocals and drums. But who cares? Not stuck with constraint of 4 piece.
Fiddle, keyboards, whistle, shamisen, tabla? bring it on.
I play Irish Bouzouki, tenor guitar, tenor banjo. I can knock out a rhythm on bodhran, frame drum or cojan.
I am creative with pedals and effects. and can do a bit of throat singing, sounds interesting through an octave pedal and reverb.
Rock, Folk or Blues. Even some classical.
Don't get blinded by the instrument, just remember Bon Scott.
