Indie rock band in London looking for guitarists London

Hey there,

I'm the songwriter/lead singer of the band The Place It's There, a new indie rock band based in London. We're currently looking for a lead guitarist and a rhythm guitarist for our band. I currently play guitar in the band but I feel on stage it will serve us best and look ideal if I'm mainly just singing and can focus on fronting the band in that way.

I used to release music as a solo artist under the name Nick Mono (you can find all my music on Spotify etc.). I signed with Parlophone Records, released an EP and some more singles independently after that, and amassed well over 10 million streams with my music, as well as getting multiple Radio 1 plays. I decided to leave that behind and start new with this band because I knew this was the direction I was meant to go in.

That solo project was indie/alternative music that I was producing from my bedroom, so this band's music is a bit of a shift from that, with our influences being the rock n roll bands I've always loved growing up: The Stone Roses, Oasis, The Beatles, The Verve, The Strokes etc.

All the music in the band is written by me and we are currently booking gigs to perform lots of the songs that will be on our first album when we get around to recording it. With the connections and experience gained from my solo career, we have a clear idea of how to build from where we are and get to where we want to, so we only want very dedicated and committed people on board.
