THROUGH THE GHOST are looking for members to join our ranks
ABOUT US:
We are a newly formed band (currently consisting of a vocalist and bassist) based in the Spalding area with 30+ years combined experience under our belts. Our last project ran for 8 years, seeing us release 3 EPs and playing notable grassroot festivals around the UK such as Mangata and Breaking Bands (now rebranded as Ascendancy). The drive and passion for music still burns strong, so we are looking to create a new project that is dedicated and passionate
---
THE SOUND:
We are aiming for a balanced mix of heavy rock and 00s metalcore. We want to create hard hitting and in-your-face anthems that gets the crowd bouncing at home and at shows. Our main influences are Shinedown, Killswitch Engage, Tremonti and Flat Black
---
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
2x Guitarists (at least 1 Lead)
Drummer
Keyboardist*
Female Vocalist*
We want members who are passionate both in the music process as well as behind the scenes, whilst remembering to have fun along the way
*Whilst not essential, we are looking at bringing a keyboardist and female vocals into the mix to help appeal to a wider audience
---
MUSTS:
- Each member must have strong technical knowledge as well as reliable gear that can be used in practises and at live shows
- Be able to attend practise at least once a week. At this time, our practise space is based in Sleaford (Shug Studios), but we are happy to discuss other options based on member locations
- Have access to their own transport to get to and from shows/practises. We will try and share the workload when possible and don’t want to rely on just one driver/vehicle (e.g. hiring a crew van for longer distances or festivals)
- Able to contribute to multiple areas: admin, song writing sessions, finances, online content. We want everyone to be involved in running the band. Any and all ideas will be welcomed, as long as they are respectable and follow the band’s values and morals
- Live performance experience, whilst not essential, is preferred as we aim to gig as soon as possible
- We are preferably looking for members aged 25 and up
If interested, please respond to this Ad or send us an email to ttg_band@outlook.com (Bonus points if you include any videos/audio of you behind the instrument!)
