Victory Through Sound are an established alternative/alt-rock band based in Hastings, looking for a committed and capable guitarist to join us.
We're looking for someone who is comfortable playing both lead and rhythm guitar, who can bring their own ideas and personality to the band while working within the sound we've developed.
Our music is melodic, guitar-driven alternative rock with influences ranging from 90s indie and alternative through to post-punk. Think strong melodies, big guitars and introspective lyrics.
We're a mixed-age band in our 30s to late 50s, and we're looking for someone who is genuinely enthusiastic about being in a band, writing and developing new material, recording and, most importantly, playing live.
We already have original material, recorded releases and an established identity. We're looking to build momentum, increase our live activity and take the band to the next level.
We're looking for someone who:
Is a competent lead and rhythm guitarist.
reliable, committed and able to rehearse regularly.
Enjoys playing original music and comfortable contributing ideas to arrangements and songwriting
Wants to play live and help build the band.
Has a good attitude and is easy to work with and has some experience playing in bands.
We're based in Hastings, but would consider the right person from Bexhill, Eastbourne, Rye, Battle or further afield, depending on availability and commitment.
