Genre: Nu Metal / Groove Metal / Deathcore Influences
Truth of Heresy are looking for a guitarist who can help bring a new song to life, with the potential for further work together.
I'm the vocalist and lyricist, and I've got a clear vision for the song's structure, vocal rhythms and overall direction. I'm looking for a guitarist who can take that framework and develop the riffs, guitar parts and arrangements to bring the vision to life.
The sound? Think dark, creepy nu-metal atmosphere, crushing groove-metal riffs, aggressive vocals and brutal deathcore-inspired breakdowns. A blend of Korn, Pantera and Ingested, with our own identity.
I'm not looking for someone to simply copy another band. I want someone creative who can contribute ideas while understanding the direction of the song.
What I'm looking for:
A competent guitarist who can write heavy, memorable riffs.
Someone comfortable working with vocal-cadence voice notes and a pre-planned song structure.
Someone open-minded who enjoys blending different metal styles.
Someone reliable, motivated and ready to get things moving.
Ideally, someone who can record their guitar parts or is willing to work towards a studio recording.
The immediate goal: Get the song written, developed and ready for recording as soon as possible.
There's potential for this to develop into something bigger, with further songwriting and recording opportunities for the right person.
If you're interested, get in touch with some examples of your playing or previous work, and let's talk!
IMPORTANT: LYRICAL CONTENT WARNING
The current song contains deliberately provocative, explicit and potentially controversial lyrics dealing with addiction, exploitation, destructive behaviour and the pursuit of instant gratification.
The subject matter is intended to provoke a reaction and communicate a message, not simply to shock for the sake of it. The lyrics are not intended to be sanitised or watered down to make them more palatable.
If you're easily offended by controversial subject matter, explicit language or lyrics that challenge conventional sensibilities, this probably isn't the project for you. Please be sure you're comfortable with the lyrical direction before getting involved
