Guitarist Wanted for Reina Mauve (London)
Sadly our guitarist has left the country, so we're looking for a new guitarist to join Reina Mauve.

About Us
We're an established London-based original band playing a mixture of rock, blues and jazz. We're currently releasing singles from our debut album and have played shows across London. We're aged 25–36, good friends, and have built a genuinely positive and collaborative environment where everyone contributes creatively.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for a guitarist who can both learn our current material to a high standard, and contribute to the writing process. While we'd love to perform our existing songs, the bigger priority is finding someone we connect with in terms of values and musicianship. Long-term, songwriting is what will keep the band alive, so we're looking for someone excited to help create new music together.

Musicianship & Standards
We take our music seriously and are always trying to improve. We all practice, take lessons where needed and work on our parts outside rehearsals. As such, we expect a high level of commitment from any incoming member. They should be well rehearsed and know their parts. We don't have a "that'll do" attitude; we're interested in asking how something can be more powerful, more emotional, more interesting or simply better. We enjoy improvisation and experimentation, particularly in live settings, but we generally like to agree on the core arrangements so that the songs retain their intended feel, dynamics and emotional impact.

Non-Negotiables
As highly committed players, we aim to practice weekly (North/East London) and want someone reliable who will show up on time and communicate well. We don't want to be chasing people in group chats or reminding people to book rooms. We'd like four people pushing the band forwards together including helping to arrange gigs and the background work. We all have jobs and lives outside music, but consistency and effort matter.

Most Important Of All
We're looking for a good person. Being kind, respectful, empathetic and enjoyable to spend time with matters just as much as musical ability.
