Committed guitarist wanted for active 00s party (cover) band. Already have three good players. Have a wedding (paid) we really want to take for next year but can't until we have a guitarist.
Ideal for someone who wants to:
- Blend learning and writing outside of a weekly practice in BS4
- Build up to playing 1-2 good, paid gigs a month
- Commit to a proper project
We're singer/keys, bass, drums. There's one spot for a guitarist having just parted ways with our previous one.

We created the band in 2025 from a shared love of 00s classics spanning all genres - from pop to r&b, indie and rock. They're always the ones that hit the hardest at the pubs, so we built a band around them.

Some songs are similar to the originals. Some are reworked. We tend to learn a new song each week and a lot of the work is done outside of the group on whatsapp etc. We all enjoy taking things away and bringing our own ideas to the practice.
We're all experienced musicians and were gigging last year. The current set is 1.5 - 2 hours. We're looking for someone who can learn most of that (with freedom to write their own parts), make some suggestions on what we drop, and bring some new ones into the mix.
We're looking to build up to playing a couple of good gigs every month rather than slogging it every weekend.
We all get along really well and enjoy the social side of things, too. If you'd rather just turn up once a month and play, it might not be a great fit. It's a super fun project for someone creative with the time to make it work.
