LEAD / RHYTHM GUITARIST AVAILABLE
Experienced lead/rhythm guitarist looking to join an established band or serious project.
I'm 58, based in the North East, and have been playing guitar on and off for around 35 years. Comfortable playing both lead and rhythm, backing vocals, and happy to fit into what the song needs rather than trying to be the star of the show.
Influences include: U2 • Stereophonics • Sam Fender • The Killers • Snow Patrol • Kings of Leon • Coldplay • Courteeners • Oasis and plenty more indie/pop-rock.
I’m particularly into high-energy indie and alternative rock, big guitar songs and proper live-band music.
Gear-wise, I'm well equipped with a Les Paul, other guitars, quality amps and a full pedalboard, so I'm gig-ready and not looking to turn up with a practice amp and a Tesco carrier bag full of leads!
I'm looking for: • An established band or serious project
• Lead/rhythm guitar
• Indie / rock / alternative / pop-rock
• Regular rehearsals and ultimately live gigs
• Good bunch of people who actually want to get out and play
Not looking to be lead vocalist. Happy with backing vocals where needed.
I'm not interested in endless rehearsing with no end goal. I'd like to get a good set together, get out there and play some bloody gigs!
Based in the North East and happy to travel a reasonable distance for the right band.
If you're looking for a committed guitarist who wants to get stuck in and play some great songs, give me a shout.
