I'm really looking to do feel good music: Soul/Motown/Disco/Dance, and classic Jazz numbers too. I'm open to suggestions of course. We'd be using a laptop running a sequencer (Ableton Live)- so we'd be playing to backing tracks. I've sourced all the tracks and worked with Ableton Live in a previous band.
I teach guitar: grade 8 in both classical and rock/blues. I use a midi guitar and so I'm able to play a broad range of sounds. I also play piano a little, which I'd be open to playing in a set as well. I have free access to two rehearsal spaces; one in a recording studio in Ancoats and a friend's custom built rehearsal space in Urmston.
I can do backing vocals (I sing in an originals band).
I'm looking to get paid. What better way than doing something you love? Preferably someone with their own transport but we can work around that. If you play an instrument as well, even better.
