We’re putting together a new **Country / Modern Country / Bluegrass band** with the aim of playing parties, events, country nights, pubs and eventually festivals\.
At the moment we have **male lead vocals and bass** and are initially going to get the project up and running using backing tracks, but we’re looking for a **guitarist to join us and play live alongside the tracks**, with the intention of developing the lineup further as things progress\.
The music will be a good mixture of **proper classic country, modern country, country rock, bluegrass and line\-dance favourites**\.

Songs will range from modern country through to classics, with a strong **party and line\-dancing section** including tracks such as *Boot Scootin’ Boogie, Copperhead Road, Achy Breaky Heart, Wagon Wheel* and *Country Roads*\.
We’d ideally like someone who can play **country\-style lead and rhythm guitar** and is comfortable playing along with backing tracks initially\. If you can also play acoustic, banjo, mandolin or sing backing/harmony vocals, even better — but none of those are essential\.
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone **reliable, easy\-going and enthusiastic about country music** who wants to help build something good from the beginning\.
This isn’t intended to stay as a backing\-track act long term\. The goal is to gradually develop it into a **full live country band**, potentially adding female vocals, fiddle, keys and drums as the project grows\.
