Hi, my name is Tom Evans and I am looking to see what is around the area for a guitarist.
I am based in Stanway, recently moved here from Wiltshire so I don't really know anyone around here or what the music scene is like yet. I have been playing guitar for around 24 years now, playing professionally for around 14 years, I have played hundreds of weddings, parties and corporate events for the likes of Volvo across the UK over the year and done quite a few wedding gigs in Europe too. I still work with a party band doing a lot of weddings in Europe during the summer so I appreciate that a band looking for a full time guitarist might not want someone who is away a lot.
I am also a guitar teacher, I taught guitar in schools in Wiltshire for around 12 years with 70+ students a week in various schools, now looking to teach privately more than in schools for the time being.
Having played across the UK and Europe I am obviously happy to travel, have my own transport, have my own equipment and I am a fast learner and teacher.
