My band The good for nothings are looking for a guitarist
We've got 2 eps recorded ready to drop, and get on the road touring.
Musically its a bit all over the place,
very much a riff based, rock n roll band drawing from all the different elements of rock n roll
we come from playing in punk bands but have a lot of different influences and a lot experience so theres a lot of room for experimentation drawing from influences as diverse as black flag, black sabbath, the bronx, tom waits, the doors, the gun club, the stooges, mc5, neil young, tom petty, stax records, old 50's stuff etc with a lot of roots music Americana and blues thrown in too.
So some of its heavy as f*ck, some of its really melodic and jangly, some of it grooves ad makes you wanna dance!
Ideally we're looking for someone who comes from punk/rock n roll but has broad taste and can play a lot of different genres if needed, or at least open minded to try as we don't really conform to one particular sound, and it really works well, is insanely fun to play and leaves a lot of room for creativity.
We intend to release 4 eps over the space of the year,
and are looking for a decent player who have had a fair amount of experience touring and releasing records who can commit, contribute, and get involved, who understands the level of commitment required for a band who isn't just doing this as a hobby.
