Highly experienced guitar player (40) looking for something fresh to mix things up a little.
Own gear. Own transport. Easy to get on with. Over two decades of playing in original and covers outfits, covering a huge range of styles in that time... Soul, rock, blues, jazz, psychedelic funk, prog, classical fusion, pretty much everything except the heavier end of the metal spectrum.
I have a covers band which have regular work, but I have space to take on something else too. A recent (now defunct) originals band gained a nice following with regular plays on BBC Introducing. Previous acts have been well received, so I must be doing something right. Links, etc, available on request.
Need a guitarist/songwriter/backing vocalist? Please message me with as much detail as you have about your band/project. Include links & videos if you have them.
But before you do, here's a list of the sort of thing I'd be interested in:
- Original / collaborative projects
- Arty / jazzy / psychedelic / different
- Dep & stand-in work
- Big shows/ensembles for one-off shows
- Wedding/covers/tribute acts that don't gig TOO often
- Touring acts needing an additional supporting player on a contract-by-run basis
What I am NOT interested in:
- Metal / thrash / showgaze / noiserock
- Long-term cruise contacts
- Pub covers bands
- Buskers / acoustic duo for pubs
- Endless chat about something 'in the works' that ultimately leads nowhere
- Prima Donnas / a-holes
I look forward to hearing from you. Please, please, PLEASE don't be offended if I don't reply (I will try to)... It is probably because your pitch is not what something I'm interested in (had a lot of time wasters in here, as I'm sure we all have).
Cheers, and chat soon,
Tim
