Hey everyone,
I've been gigging since 2009 and honestly got fed up with how broken the whole process is. Chasing venues and promoters for payment, never knowing if a booking's actually confirmed, no contracts, no transparency. So I built something to fix it.
GigXchange is a platform where venues across the UK post available dates with their budget and what they're looking for. You browse, filter by genre and location, and apply directly. If they want you, you're booked. Contract generated automatically, payment agreed upfront and held securely until the gig's done.
Here's what you already get when you sign up:
— Your own public profile page you can customise and share directly with venues, agents, promoters, even labels. It's basically your digital press kit, always up to date, no PDFs or dodgy Google Docs links.
— Upload 3 tracks and a video so people can hear and see what you do without you having to dig through YouTube links or WeTransfer folders.
— An availability calendar so venues know exactly when you're free. No more back-and-forth emails working out dates.
— A flyer generator — punch in your gig details and it spits out a print-ready or social media-ready flyer in seconds. No Canva, no faffing.
— Verified reviews after every gig. The more you play, the stronger your profile gets. Venues can see your track record before they book you, so good musicians stop getting overlooked.
It's free to join and takes five minutes to set up a profile. The first 250 musicians get free access forever — not a trial, permanently free.
FYI : I'm building this on my own so if anything's rough around the edges, tell me. I actually read every message.
