Im 62, have lots of experience live and in the studio, released second album this year, playing at least monthly in various venues around Wirral, North Wales and Anglesey. Would really like to team up with others to create more original music and play it live. No limits on influences but a good melody and something worth writing about is always a good start. Perhaps if i tell you the last few bands ive seen over the last 6 months you might get an idea of what I like? Elvis Costello, Nick Harper, Richard Thompson, Roy Harper, SpellSongs, Kris Drever, Damien Dempsey, The Mary Wallopers, seku Keita, Emmylou Harris, Daoire Farrell, Ushers Island, McClusker McGoldrick and Doyle.
Last few places ive played, Llanfechell, August on the Sand Anglesey, St Pauls Hooton, West Kirby Live Festival, and a monthly gig in Holyhead with an Irish session band I pay in called the Old Shippers.

Ideally i would want to gig and record original music going forward and id like to play with folks who can play a few different instruments, guitar and percussion or keyboards or woodwind... accordian, fiddle? Hope to hear from folks who just want music in a more prominant place in their lives and who have the time and energy to make that happen.
