Female vocalist required for wedding function band that I am looking at re-starting after I closed down the project a year or so ago due to lack of commitment from other members
The band blends different songs and genres together to create unique mashups for our live shows including songs by artists like Miley Cyrus, Dua Lipa, Stevie Nicks, Amy Winehouse, Bruno Mars, Pharrell Williams, The Weekend, Chic, Michael Jackson, Jessie J, Abba, Kool and the Gang, Sister Sledge, and Elton John.
Im looking for a versatile vocalist with quite a wide range and powerful voice to cover the setlist, as there are many powerful songs within the set, so commitment to learn the set in a timely manner is essential.
The USP of the band is the ability to create unique mashups of songs and genres creating something new, exciting, and surprising for audiences, meaning the dancefloor will be filled from start to finish.
The band utilises backing tracks, purely to embellish our live performance, which gives us our unique live sound and feel. The tracks mainly cover keys, effects and backing vocals. All main instruments and vocals are then performed live.
We use a fantastic digital PA system with all instruments running directly through our PA which reduces the need for stage equipment, amps, cabinets etc. The processing capabilities of the desk also allow us achieve to professional quality sound and effects.
We also have a fantastic full lighting, lazer, and effects rig which complements our live sound, giving the audience a spectacular visual show too.
You would also have the opportunity to record and perform in a showreel which we were about to record in our purpose built private studio/rehearsal room which allows us exclusive access to facilities to rehearse and record.
Gigs will predominantly be weddings, functions, parties etc and fees will be split equally amongst members. I have several really good connections within the wedding planning industry, aswell as an amazing charity connected to the wedding industry.
