Artist/writer, 3-time MCA signed, looking for female singer to collaborate, sing, play if applicable.
Here's the deal. Have a label waiting on tracks... I have tracks. But the singer is no longer available. First time I was signed I made the mistake of sending in an album of originals, with a band name... and no band. I had made all of the tracks... I didn't know they would jump on it and release it internationally... it beat the hell out of owing $75k to the label like before... but still not ideal. Been working on a very potent collection of songs. Also a book... or rather an 800 page libretto.
No one here gets this. Nor could they do anything about it if they could. I had the one star rising from here. But that's no more.
If music means the world to you... if you have the chops and the style, the world is starving for something real again. I've been Profoundly lucky. I have the studio that makes these things happen, writing, experience... connects and players... just want one more solid female singer to top out the vocals and maybe be the lead of a rock opera...
People around here know I'm for real... they just can't help me... so I'm here asking if there's someone who wants to make the jump...
I don't even want to call it an interview... but just talk about music... show a few of our songs, covers, originals...
Here's a cover, because originals are being published currently. But will be shown to prospects. But this should give you an idea. This is my arrangement and I play all the parts, no programmed bits. Mics, amps and drums.
I've been really tempted to do what Hendrix did and come there, but last time I was there in the UK, it didn't strike me as the place that allowed Jimi to shine anymore... so I do my part here.
