Hi Karrie.
I've just seen your post on the Join My Band website. It's rather old now -- but I'm writing to you just in case you still check for replies.

I don't know whether this opportunity will appeal to you or not but, if you don't try, you can't get, so here goes!!

I am a fingerstyle acoustic guitarist living in Reading. I usually play quite a wide-ranging set list consisting of:

old-style blues

some country songs

some old 1940s-type pop hits e.g. Ain't Doin' Bad Doin' Nothin' by Bing Crosby (see YouTube) and I'm Confessin' (That I Love You) by Peggy Lee (ditto), to name just two.

And quite a lot of original songs. (I am a keen songwriter.)

I've been in successful duos before, managing to break out of the dismal open mic type of gig into folk club guest spots and opening slots at concerts by better known performers.

But since coming out of my most recent partnership (after Christmas), I've not had any luck with musicians' contact websites. If you would consider working with me -- or at least exploring the idea -- please let me know.

But obviously I'd also be hoping you could bring song suggestions and musical contributions as well as your voice.(I'd obviously be interested in listening to recorded examples of your singing voice if you've got any.)
