Helloo! If you're a drummer or female singer, then read on!
Who we're looking for:
Female singer, the voice of the band, who can be creative with vocal melodies. We're all chill, easy going and a bit nerdy, so you'd fit in well if you're similar. No divas or egos. Attitude and style is more important to us than vocal abilities. Probably best if you're in your late-20s to 40s, as we're aged 30s to 40s.
Also looking for a drummer. Male or female. Around the same age as listed above. You'll need at least the basic equipment to gig with, but preferably your own decent level drum kit. We're looking for someone chilled who can come up with their own beats but also happy to take suggestions and go with the flow. No druggies, drinkers or egos, we don't want the drama!
Our aim:
To begin with, to write 5 or 6 awesome indie/rock/grunge 90s era songs, influenced by Cranberries, Blondshell, The Like etc and record a single from the ones written. Release it and play some shows in the Midlands, with one or two covers thrown in. Throughout all of this we want to have fun and for everyone involved to enjoy it.
Who we are:
We're guys in our 30s to 40s, all played in bands for many years and do it for the enjoyment. If something comes of it then great! But we want to have fun writing, rehearsing and performing mainly. We all pay our own way, such as rehearsals, petrol to gigs and any recording, and we share any payment received equally between the members. Rehearsals are likely to take place in Wolverhampton, so the ability to get there or drive would be good.
I've been pretty thorough here to enable us all to know what the plan is, so no one feels they're wasting their time or doesn't know what's expected. But I promise we're all a good bunch of guys who just wanna have fun playing some tunes.
