Evanescence & Halestorm tribute band seeks second guitarist to help bring this popular tribute act to life.
Currently our capable and competent female guitarist is doing great work, but she would like a second guitarist to help with the workload and be able to have less reliance on backing tracks filling in the parts that can't be played at the same time.
As a key member of the band you will be able to take on both lead and rhythm parts where needed.
You need to really like the music of both bands we tribute to and have a passion of playing the songs on stage.
The right candidate will:
- Have their own professional gear
- Be able to drive and get themselves to and from gigs and rehearsals
- Be willing to gig locally and further afield when the demand needs it
- Be able to rehearse at weekends in Bournemouth (have our own rehearsal room)
- Be used to or willing to use in ear monitors
- Be able to play to a backing track live where needed
- Have a passion for the bands we tribute
- Be a competent guitarist with a professional attitude
Evanescence are well known for drop tuning down to various different keys for their songs so you must own a drop tuning pedal (or otherwise rely on bringing several guitars to reduce down retuning between songs) to help maintain limited retuning on stage.
Halestorm are a lively energetic band live so we want to keep that when playing live.
Age or gender are not so important but you do need to be 18 plus as some of the venues rely on this.
We often do gigs with a Nightwish tribute band, sometimes being the headline, sometimes being the support as we complement each other with the style of music. Several venues interested in booking us.
We would aim to do one 45 to 60 min set when touring with other tribute acts of either Evanescence or Halestorm songs, and do a set of each band songs to make up the full 2hr plus setlist when touring on our own.
If this sounds like you then please do get in touch.
Looking forward to talking to you.
