Looking for a capable and skilled drummer and bassist to join a well established band in Norwich.
Preferably 18+ and willing to contribute backing vocals.
Manic Stanley is a three piece, genre bending band that has gained attention from BBC Introducing, who plays our tracks frequently.
We won the 2025 Cambridge Band Competition, a highly regarded music competition that is held at the Cambridge Junction. We were the youngest band to win in the over 18’s, and this guaranteed a set on the main stage in the Strawberry Fair Festival in Cambridge.
We are consistently asked for gigs - bookings are always steady. We have played in venues such as Voodoo Daddy’s, The Brickmakers, The Smokehouse, The Hunter Club, The Cambridge Junction, Strawberry Fair Festival, The Six Six, etc. We are making our way up to headline slots, and gain frequent radio plays and interviews, placing within the Top 40 of Future Hit’s Radio.
We have a released EP that is linked below, with lots of new music in the works that needs to be recorded.
With over 400 followers, Manic Stanley needs members who are dedicated, and want to take the band further; someone who does not want this to be a simple hobby, but someone committed to the grind of making this band as big as possible.
Rehearsals will be every week in Norwich - rehearsal space can be negotiated.
Must be willing to travel to gigs, so self transport would be preferable. Must have own gear. We play gigs in Norwich, Cambridge, Ipswich, and are looking to branch out, specifically in festivals.
We have a gig booked in July that we must be prepared for.
