We’re a band from Newcastle upon-Tyne, Palma Louca. We’re looking for a 5th member to complete our lineup, what we're looking for most importantly is a guitarist/backing singer, and ideally, someone who can play keyboard or would be willing to incorporate keyboard/synth at some point in the future.
Our style is indie alternative with a variety of dark-soft indie and upbeat catchy songs. The majority of our songs are composed with 3 guitarists in mind, but some parts could certainly be adapted to keyboard/synth. Our influences range from Pink Floyd, Radiohead, and Peace.
We’re looking for a committed musician who’s passionate about music and shares our ambition to push the band forward. We’re very active within the Newcastle scene – gigging regularly, both headline and support slots. We're looking for someone who likes creating sounds/tones, and is able to create a sound that compliments the music.
Someone with gigging experience is ideal but not necessary, as well as having the equipment needed to create complex tones (reverb, delay etc).
We currently have 2 singles released on all major music platforms which you can find in the links below, but we have a lot more demos that we'd be happy to send over:
