We are an alternative metal band currently undergoing a re-shuffle in our lineup and are looking for a new bassist and lead guitarist.
A little more about us:
We’ve been a band for around 2 years, we have gigged extensively and have a professionally recorded (but as yet unreleased) EP under our belts
Our sound ranges across the entire alternative and metal spectrum from the lighter side of pop-punk, post-hardcore and metalcore all the way through to slam and brutal death metal
We’re in the process of getting things into place for the release of our EP (shooting a music video, printing a line of merch, printing the CD’s etc.)
This project is a professional endeavour and we want to take it as far as we possibly can. We want committed and dedicated people as a part of our team
We were originally based in North Wales, now we’re spread a little more all over the place while we’re in the process of relocating down south. But as we’re starting to play shows in places outside of our home scene this isn’t an issue
What we need from you:
Have all your own required gear. Nothing makes a band look unprofessional like having to ask to borrow an amp at every show they play
Stay in the loop with us. When we get offered shows or need to arrange practices these are done through our group chat, keeping an open and responsive dialogue is key. Keeping event organisers waiting a long time before we confirm we can play a show is a complete no-no
Be organised. Constantly being late to practices or shows is unacceptable; this is a major factor in why we’re looking for new members. Professionalism is essential
Be prepared to invest your time. When we have a show coming up we always make sure we have plenty of time to rehearse in the lead up to the date, many venues also require us to be there early to load-in and soundcheck. That said, we all have jobs and understand the difficulty in getting that amount of time free at short notice. Hence why we use the group chat to effectively coordinate times we can meet to practice as mentioned above
Be at least 18 years old. We can’t afford to be a member down for shows because you’re too young to be allowed into some venues
Be prepared to invest your money. Recording, printing merch, fuel for getting to shows etc. none of this stuff comes for free. We all invest a significant proportion of our wages to the band and if you’re a full time member we will expect the same from you. All money we earn from playing shows and selling merch goes straight into the “band bank” and is used to help out with the aforementioned costs
If you’re interested then get in touch, we’re happy to answer any questions you may have and to show you the tracks from our EP to give you a flavour of the kind of band you’re joining.
